Sleigh Bells Ringing and Children Singing

The holiday spirit was in the air at Leap and Bound Academy last week! Students donned Santa hats, elf ears, snowflake sweaters, and bright smiles as they mounted the stage to sing and dance in front of their families (and video cameras). Over the past few weeks, LBA teachers and students have been hard at work preparing their holiday performances. If you visited the Medical Center location last week you may have even spotted Ms. Dinah’s class in the middle of rehearsal!

In addition to dance rehearsals, the stages at each Leap and Bound school displayed unique winter settings filled with snowmen, ornaments, Christmas trees, presents, and holiday cheer. Look at the beautifully decorated gingerbread house backdrop on display at the Torrance location!

As family members began to arrive and take their seats in front of the stage, the excited students knew it was almost show time! Directed by their teacher, each class lined up on center stage and waved to their proud parents. Some class performances included sleigh bells and singing, while some of the older students danced to famous Christmas carols! Here are some photos from the holiday performances:

Parents and family members beamed and applauded as the students took their final bows. Then it was back into the classroom for a holiday potluck! The performers sat around tables in their decorated classrooms amidst snowflakes and reindeer crafts, enjoying snacks and holiday treats while their parents snapped photos. The holiday potluck was the perfect end to an exciting week filled with crafts, singing, dancing, and holiday cheer!
