Hooray for bubble day!
Our students always look forward to Fridays because it’s the one day a week when they can bring toys from home to share with their classmates. The children have come to expect it, so it’s always fun to randomly surprise them with special days like bubble day. Bubble festivities started bright and early during morning outside play. Some children came with bubbles, while others were able to share and play with bubbles that teachers brought. Going outside was like walking into the bubble equivalent of a ocean wave. From one end of the playground to the other, the bubbles that escaped the fate of being popped by the students floated in all their lightweight and translucent glory into the sky. The students were tickled by their power to eliminate bubbles with one poke of their tiny little fingers. There was a good mix of children who were skilled bubble blowers, while others found the task a bit more difficult. Overall, whether blowing bubbles or popping them, everyone enjoyed a bubbly day.
