Hakuna Matata Ms. Martha’s Class!
Energetic. Entertaining. Ecstatic.
These are the only words to describe Ms. Martha’s 3 year old class. The day began with little ones patiently waiting for their parents to arrive. When the parents did arrive, each one was greeted with joyous smiles and big hugs. All the kids were feeling good; they were ready to show off all their hard work.
The toddlers walked out of their class room and onto the stage wearing big smiles and getting into place.
They kicked off the show with “Down By The Bay” and had motions to go along with the lyrics.
The audience cheered and everyone loved the first song of the performance.
Everyone was eager for more as the song “Slippery Fish” started. “Slippery Fish” was a fun song that all the kids loved! There were more dance moves to go along with the song as the kids sang about the food chain. The kids’ favorite part of the song was the very ending where in the song there is a loud burp and the toddlers all play along.
The last song was the oh so famous “Hakuna Matata” from the original Disney movie, “Lion King.” The lyrics:
“Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata, ain’t no passing craze
It means no worries for the rest of your days
It’s our problem free philosophy, Hakuna Matata”
were perfect for the happy and carefree preschoolers as they celebrated a wonderful year at LBA. This song was absolutely adorable, a huge hit among the parents, teachers, and little performers!
After the performance, everyone headed inside to celebrate with a delicious potluck.
They ate pizza, chicken nuggets, and veggies at the potluck.
The 3 year olds are excited to move up for their last year of preschool. Their spirits are high for their future. Congrats Ms. Martha’s class! Hakuna Matata for the rest of your LBA days!
